In a society where men dominate the top positions in companies and women are taught to seek perfection, the road to leadership can feel like a distant fantasy. But what can we, as women, do to improve our chances of climbing the ladder? In Anila's research, she highlights the need for more female discussion within the topic of female leadership. She explains that the obstacles that stop society as a whole, may not be representative of the core barriers we face as women specifically. Through her work, she directly asked women what was stopping them from reaching their dream roles.
